Thank you State Representative Mai Xiong!

I had the opportunity to meet with the incredible students from the REST Robotics Team at Roseville High School, and I left truly inspired by their talent, creativity, and passion for innovation.

These bright young students were so excited to share their projects and talk about everything they are learning about electrical engineering, 3D printing, building, coding and incorporating artificial intelligence. Their hard work, teamwork, and curiosity about the future were amazing to see firsthand.

Congratulations to the REST Robotics Team on all of your accomplishments and for representing our community so well. The future is bright because of students like you.

A special thank you to the teachers, staff, principal, mentors, and parents who continue to encourage and support these students throughout their journey. Your guidance and dedication are helping prepare the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

I am so proud of all of you and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

REST Robotics members Frank Zini, Ryan Diemond, Alex Landis and Hunter Guerrieri were invited by the Square One Education Network to showcase their innovative engineering projects at the Xponential Show, one of the world’s largest conferences on autonomous and uncrewed technology. Here, they were able to demonstrate their projects in front of leading industry members from across the globe! Great job!

Wow! What can we say? Our Roseville High School REST Robotics Autonomous and RC teams CLEANED UP at the Square One Education Network annual Innovative Vehicle Design competition at Kettering University taking home the following awards:

Autonomous Grand Champion
1st Place Autonomous Performance
1st Place Autonomous Craftsmanship
2nd Place Mini IVD (RC) Presentation
3rd Place Mini IVD (RC) Performance

REST Robotics AIVD and MIVD teams presented their projects in front of parents and kids today at Roseville High School’s Take Your Kids to Work day! Hoping to inspire the next generation of engineers, autonomous parking and RC performance was demonstrated!

REST Robotics and the RHS Mechatronics class will have a fleet of brand new Bambu Lab A1 and A1 Mini 3D printers to head into this school year! These machines will allow students to learn 3D design and additive manufacturing while allowing them to prototype parts for various engineering projects!

Although we’re on summer break, we’d still like to share a project completed by one our our freshmen REST members, programming our FANUC cobot to play tic-tac-toe with itself! How cool!
