Aikido & Healing Arts Center of Roseville Practicing the Art of Peace in a community based dojo.

Aikido & Healing Arts of Roseville is a martial arts dojo and wellness center framed by the art and principles of Aikido which was founded in Japan by Morihei Ueshiba in the late 1920s through the 1930s. Aikido is often translated as "the way of harmonious spirit" where at its core the art teaches self-defense based on non-violence and the preservation of life. Aikido techniques typically comprise joint locks or throws requiring very little strength which lends its adoption to men, women, and children.

Two big milestones. Two very well earned promotions.

Please join us in congratulating , who successfully completed his 5th kyu exam, And Sage who successfully completed her 7th kyu exam!

Both of them put in the work. They showed up, trained hard, stayed disciplined, and kept pushing themselves even when it didn’t just get through it, They absolutely nailed it!

These promotions represent much more than a new rank. They are the result of dedication, discipline, perseverance, and their willingness to keep learning.

For both current and , this is just the beginning. They’ve completed their first steps on Aiki Journey and we could not be more proud of them!
Congratulations, Karen and Sage! Well done.

🥋 KYU TESTING — TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st!

Two of our students are stepping up to the mat for an important milestone in their Aiki journey!

🌱 Sage — working toward her 7th Kyu
🔥 Curran — working toward his 5th Kyu

Both have been putting in the work, showing up, and staying dedicated to the task at hand. Now it's time to see that hard work come together on the mat.

Come out Tuesday and support Sage and Curran as they take another step forward in their Aikido journey! Class begins at 6pm. Informal weapons class at 5.

Just a gentle reminder, tonight is our Ice Cream social / celebration to honor our two young ladies Lyla and Abigail for their wonderful 7th kyu demonstration!
