Lots of fun was had at the Texas Beach Nationals in Galveston today! Our team came and dominated the sands and even Coach Horne got out there, setting the example! Super proud of what our team accomplished today! It was hot, it was sandy (definitely took probably a gallon of sand home), it was windy, and it took some grit to get out there on that sand.

There has been update regarding uniform if you plan to go this weekend!

🚨 ATTIRE UPDATE & CORRECTION 🚨

We wanted to clarify the attire requirements for Texas Beach Nationals:

🏖️ Singlets are optional—they are NOT required.

Boys:
✅ Shorts without pockets
✅ No shirt OR a rash guard

Girls:
✅ Shorts
✅ Sports bra or a rash guard-style shirt

Please make sure all attire is appropriate for beach wrestling and free of pockets or anything that could create a safety concern.

We can’t wait to see everyone on the sand this Saturday! 🌊🤼

Coach Horne will be there and he is also contemplating on joining in on the fun.

Today some of our wrestlers attended the St. Louis Catholic Wrestling day camp in Lake Charles. They learned team building, wrestling fundamentals, fitness, and skills drills with state champs and their head coach Bud McMichael. It was a lot of fun!

We will put out more camps as we see them! Thank y’all for attending!

Some of our Forge Elite and Rosepine Wrestlers went to some of the 3 day camps hosted by Dustin Burton of the North Desoto Wrestling Academy this past weekend. They worked on Shot Defense, Leg Riding Turning & Pinning, and Short Offense Scoring (on different days). Our wrestlers are putting in that work.

We will be posting opportunities throughout the summer for day camps/camps when we see them.

Hey parents I just wanted to put out the updated flyer that includes updated pricing as well as registration dates for a wrestling camp in Lafayette area. They've had a generous donation come in that is allowing more kids to participate reflecting in the updated costs. I have also been asked to help out with this camp and have graciously accepted. If you have a wrestler interested please let me know, as well as getting them registered for the early bird pricing to save yourselves even more. Please let me know if you are interested by Sunday, June 7th at 3pm so we can have an accurate count.

The 2026 summer Wrestling season has started! What an intense day of practice and the kids are definitely putting in that work. Goals have been set and this year we want to take that title!
