Well I gotta say it was a pretty good way to end the week with an 18-6 victory over Markesan tonight!
A few rare things happened in tonight’s game. Starting it off with a solo shot to left on the very first pitch of the game by Jack Rens followed up by a grand slam to center by Cayden Shaver a few batters later! Nice work fellas! After all the dust settled Coach Smit earned his 200th victory as head coach! Congratulations Greg!
Next week is a busy one. Varsity will be hosting Wautoma Monday night as that will be senior night followed up with the players signing posters! Come on out and help celebrate these seniors as their time is winding down.
Almost, but didn’t forget 😉, please remember to thank Holly Shaver (Senior) who has helped with this baseball program unofficially for the past 6 years doing a lot of the behind the scenes things including all the walk up songs, national anthem, paperwork, helping Jeff’s livestream with questions, brat fry just to name a few.

Couple big games tonight!!

JV away Campbellsport 4:30

Just incase you heard Varsity 4:00 Friday, that is inaccurate. First game for Varsity is 7:00 at Gerald Thompson Field (across from HS) in Waupun. Then all depends win loss.

JV and Varsity games are canceled. Plan is to meet at field for practice at 3:45 as long as Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton aren’t trying to set up Dorthy in center field.

Tonight’s JV game in Kohler has been canceled. All JV players should still report to the diamond for practice after school. 2 shirt players should dress for varsity game.

Thank you to all of our supporters who came out to support our brat fry Friday and Saturday! Great turnout for having not so great weather. Special thank you to all that donated some amazing baked goods.

Well it’s officially our last and probably only full week of full practice before games begin! The plan is to be outside at the field all week. Dress accordingly, maybe even some old cleats as they may get a little damp and muddy. A couple things to know this week,

* Bring your Vertical Raise fundraiser sheet TOMORROW with 25 emails or phone numbers.

* Tues will be the Vertical Raise fundraiser meeting right after school at the HS for the players. It should go no more than 1 hour (3:45-4:45) then practice at the field after fundraiser meeting.
