Calling all deer hunters:
Dakota County Gun Club's
DEER RIFLE SIGHT IN
2025

Saturdays and Sundays 4 weekends prior to MN DNR Deer Firearm Opener

TIME: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

COST: $10.00 per person per gun (cash)

Bring your own guns and ammo.
Club members will assist you in sighting in your rifles, slug guns and pistols (of legal deer hunting calibers).

Directions: take Highway 3 to the 170th St round-about then take 170th St East until the paved road ends at Station Trail where you go South (right turn) continuing past Whitetail Woods Park and follow the gravel road until it ends at the club (just past the stop sign). Do NOT use navigation services like Google Maps which which will take you the wrong way on UM service roads which are blocked.

I thought this very apropos going into Ladies Day. A new World Record long range shoot. 1.4 MILES - oh, and the new record holder? Look for yourself. Not your typical scruffy ex military looking guy this time. Oh yeah, ladies can shoot!

Extreme Long Range shooting is a discipline in which the envelope is routinely pushed. ELR shooter Lindsey Paul recently set a new cold bore world record.

Ladies Day is nearly here! Saturday from Noon to Five!
$10 covers all the shooting, and a meal!
Looks like the weather will be perfect to spend a day outdoors.
Regarding the Virus: You are welcome to wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable. Most of our helpers will not be wearing them. The entire event takes place outdoors.
