We are improving every week, this week we beat Cathedral on Monday lead by Juniors Steven Lira 44, Gio Sandoval and Nick Governale 45. Wednesday defeated Bosco tech led by Gio 41 and Nick 42. Great job guys !!!

This week the boys golf team has hit stride, today we lost a tough battle but we're led by Giovanni Sandoval 39, Nick Governale 44 and Jason Fierro 48. It was nice to see Brandon Baucom and Jacob Munoz at Whittier Narrows today. Steven Lira 55, Joseph Ulibarri 56, Steven Segura 56 and Anthony Rodriguez 57. Keep working hard guys.

2016 Boy's golf team blazed a new trail as Brandon Baucom shot a plus two 74 to qualify for CIF where he shot 80 at Skylinks in Long Beach . We will keep playing each Saturday at 9am Whittier Narrows is $5 for high school kids, you should join us !!

241 us 227 Mary Star, Jason Gras went low at 43, Frank 47, Ben 48 and Joel 49 but Mary Star had a kid shoot 35 on a par 36.

Boys golf season starts on Monday, March 3rd as the boys play Mary Star at Harbor Park in Wilmington. Right now I have 8 Varsity guys good luck to Jason Gras, Brandon Baucom, Joseph Governale, Mat Baker, Joel Mendiola, Vincent Matamoroz, Frank Ulloa and Ben Lopez. Go low boys !!

The girls golf season comes to an end for the season of 2013. On Monday, with the cut set at 55, Allison Fonseca posted a 51 and advanced to the league finals on Thursday. A few girls came close, first year Senior Erin Molina shot 58, first year Junior Renee Madrigal 59 and second year Senior Ariel Estavillo 61. Good work girls !!

Monday, October 22nd is here and the girls golf team will wrap up their season with the league prelims at Rec. Park in Long Beach. This is the last chance for anyone to move on but I do have four to six players who can really play and that is why this team has become great!

The girls competed again defending league champion St. Joseph Jesters this past week and came to within 18 strokes this time. Much improved over last year. With league finals only a week away, we are gearing up for a run at all-league representation. Good luck to all the girls and by the way, Congratulations to Miranda Pueyo for making the Homecoming court this week !!
