SPFIHA Spring High School Hockey Program

The Scotch Plains–Fanwood Ice Hockey Association (SPFIHA) is pleased to offer a Spring High School Ice Hockey program for current high school players and rising freshmen who would like to continue playing after the winter season concludes.

This program is game-based only and provides an opportunity for players to stay on the ice in a competitive environment. Games will be played primarily at Union Sports Arena.

Please note that this program does not include practices and is not intended as a developmental program. The league is highly competitive and physical, so players should have prior travel hockey experience before participating.

Registration
• Registration deadline: March 15
• Full payment is required at the time of registration

Season Details
• 9 total games (8 regular season + 1 playoff game)
• Most games will be played Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday evenings
• Playoffs: June 15 – June 21
• Playoff format will depend on the number of teams registered

Additional Information
• No games will be scheduled Easter Sunday or Memorial Day weekend
• Some games may be played at nearby rinks if needed to complete the season schedule
• Full hockey equipment is required for all Union Sports Arena programs
• This program is for current high school students and incoming freshmen
• All players must be registered with USA Hockey
