In 2022, I had the honor of teaching a takedown seminar at the Mile High Karate Black Belt Retreat in Breckenridge, CO. Here is a segment from that seminar. Thank you, Master Stephen Oliver, for giving me the opportunity to share with these amazing students. They were exhausted from the many hours of exhibitions they had been performing throughout the weekend, but still managed to focus and execute very well.

I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of my student, Mark Hamel and his new bride, Laikynn Hamel over the weekend. Mark has had a successful path in Jiu-jitsu competition. I am honored to have been an influence in his skill development over the years. I am even happier to see him find this special woman to share his future with. Congratulations, Mark and Laikynn!
