Well Douglas your athletes showed up this weekend! There were lots of events and these athletes gave their all! Some HIghlights:
Jayden Tompkins: Drill 2nd place; 12th Trail; 4th Sorting
Shasta Levin: Drill 2nd place; Reining 4th place; 4th Sorting
Shyanne Thompson: Drill 2nd place; 12th Keyhole; 9th Individual Flags
Meet 2 is at the end of the month, so days away! We will be working hard to prepare for this next meet. Please support these athletes. They are still actively looking for sponsors. This is a great way to promote your business so please let us know if you can support us.

This is it! This season we have 3 students representing the Douglas team. We are competing with South Umpqua (2 students), UVC (1 student) and Sutherlin (4 students) to make an amazing team. This weekend we will be at our first district meet in Eugene.
Athletes will be competing as group events in a 9 man Drill team, 2 teams of 4 athletes: Team Versatility, In Hand Obstacle Race (IHOR), Canadian Flags; 2 athlete team events: 2 man sorting, 2 man BiRangle, working pairs. Also individual events for athletes: in hand trail, trail, reining, working rancher, barrels, poles, figure 8, keyhole and individual flags.
