So I had been waiting pretty patiently for my sweet gum mold to jump on the urchin/ fuzzy ball/ cat toy bait rage. Turns out, these things work VERY well. Still testing rigging options, but as far as getting bites, these do a heck of a job!

This last weekend we had the honor of attending the Kansas Veterans Memorial Bass Tournament as mentioned previously. Well, here is the local news coverage of the reasons behind it. Honestly, it’s one of those things I am honored to have been involved in and hope to continue for the foreseeable future!

Anglers filled up a Kansas reservoir over the weekend to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Clearly I have steered away from social media for a bit, and I have to rectify that for you all. I have to admit that things got a little overwhelming last year when this whole thing started to come together and demand was high. I was thankful to every single person who ordered but quickly realized I was not able to keep up the tempo as I am still a full time Guardsman, so I backed off for a bit. I can now say that my retirement from what will be 31 years of total service is coming sooner than I could have imagined, and so I am able to start cranking out numbers again. I will start posting a lot more baits, working on getting the videos on YouTube, and get the web sales rolling. Thank you for being patient and again, thank you all for the support. I could not have imagined the response I received, and while it was overwhelming, it was a huge reassurance that this is the right path for me. Stayed tuned!!!

Had an amazing time yesterday at the KS Veterans Memorial Bass Tournament. Saw some pretty awesome fish, reconnected with amazing folks, and took part in a huge show of love for some local hero’s by honoring their love of fishing.
