Fundraiser cards will be handed out tomorrow. Participants will receive 20 cards and a sheeth to collect money. If a student cannot participate, they can just bring the cards back on Wednesday.
Each card will be sold for $20 cash or check (made out to Rose Hill MS Football).

Once a participant sells 20, they will turn in their money ($400) and may get another 20 cards, if desired.

Participants who sell 20 cards will get a personalized hoodie, participants who sell 12 will get Rose Hill slides, and participants who sell 10 will receive a free card.
Top 3 sellers will also receive prize money:
1st Place- $80
2nd Place - $60
3rd Place - $40

All fundraising money will be used to support our middle school weight room.
In the past 3 years, we have used the money for wall graphics in the locker rooms, weight racks, dumbbells, Olympic bars, and a number of other weight room items.

Great job to all those who participated in our 3rd annual Rocket Card Fundraiser.

We sold over $6500 worth of cards and netted over $4000 for our program.

With the heat looking nasty for 2 more days, we will be going to morning practices for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Practice tomorrow and Wednesday will be from 6 to 715 am. Drop off by 545 am on the east side. We will have the locker room (gray door) open.

My apologies, but we have a few changes to our start times for the season (due to KSHSAA Rules).

Our first practice will be on Monday, August 19th. We will practice from 3:30 to 5:30.

Equipment Checkout has changed to:

Wednesday, August 14th (first day of school) - 7th Grade Equipment Checkout and Team Meeting - 3:30 to 4:30

Thursday, August 15th - 8th Grade Equipment Checkout and Team Meeting - 3:30 to 4:30.

We will be holding a booth open on Thursday, August 8th from 430 to 700 pm in the high school gymnasium. This is for the District Community Event Night. We will be selling the $20 discount Cards. If anyone would like to hold it open and possibly sell enough cards for prizes, please reach out to me. ***Any kid/parent who sells cards during their time running the table will count those sold cards toward their total cards sold.

I plan on setting up and manning the table until 5.
This could be run by parents or by kids, or both. I just need a couple of volunteers and the time could be divided into 1 hour blocks, i.e. 5 to 6, and 6 to 7.

Middle School Football Parents and Players!

Here are a few dates, reminders, and FYIs for the upcoming season.

Dates:

Monday, August 12th, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
- Equipment Checkout in the Boys Locker Room.
Tuesday, August 13th, 3:30 pm- 5:30 pm
- Equipment Checkout in the Boys Locker Room.

***If you cannot make either of these two dates, please email Coach Maxwell - [email protected].

***You only need to come to one of the days. Parents may wait outside or in their cars. Checkout should take 20-30 minutes per player.

Wednesday, August 14th - First Day of School and Practice!
Practice will be helmets only (cleats needed) from 3:30 - 5:30.
***Pickup between 5:45 and 6:00 pm.

Equipment Needed by the first practice - cleats and girdle
*** The girdle needs to be form-fitting, not loose.
We provide helmets, shoulder pads, game/practice jerseys, and game pants.

Physical forms must be completed and turned in to the office before the first practice.

The high school has concluded its football workouts for the summer.

For the last two weeks, we will end at 8:15 on Mondays and Tuesdays and go until 9:00 am on Wednesday's and Thursdays.

This only affects 7th/8th football or any athlete that was attending workouts with the high school.

Our last day of weights and conditioning is Thursday, August 1st.
