I truly hope this is not an act of vandalism, but based on earlier experiences at the golf course, and other acts committed at the city park and baseball complex this summer, unfortunately that is the most logical conclusion. I hope the public, especially the young people that play on our course, understand that it is a TINY amount of people that volunteer their time, energy and financial resources to maintain and improve our golf course. A wife of a member of the legion golf association made these tee box markers. If anyone has information on what occurred, including it not being an act of vandalism, please reply with a message on this post or speak to an association member. I very much hope I am wrong to suspect something nefarious happened and that we all continue to respect public areas.

If anyone has information regarding these ATV tracks left on number 5 green, please message to this Facebook account or talk to one of the golf association members. Al has worked hard on the greens regularly so the public can drag and putt.

With the recent rain, our course is ready to go! Please remember to rake the greens even if you do not drag and putt. This helps minimize weeds and keeps the sand from settling. Golf night is on Tuesdays at 6 PM so come out and enjoy!
