An exciting announcement from Kids Spot 🎉 We are thrilled to share some exciting news: as of December 1st, 2025, Kids Spot, Inc. has officially acquired Wight Tumble Academy.

Wight Tumble Academy, founded in 2002, has been a cornerstone of tumbling excellence, producing state and national champions under the guidance of Terry Wight. 💪✨

To our longtime Kids Spot families, thank you for continuing to grow with us. To our Wight Tumble Academy families, welcome - we are so excited to have you join the Kids Spot community! Our shared mission remains the same: to provide a safe, supportive, and inspiring place for children to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.

The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together. ❤️💙💛

End of an Era 💙

It’s hard to find the words…

After opening our doors in 2002, and helping many athletes along the way, we are announcing that Wight Tumble Academy has officially merged with Kids Spot.

Saying goodbye to the place that has been our home for so long feels both heartbreaking and bittersweet.

For 23 years, Wight Tumble Academy wasn’t just a gym — it was a family. It was the sound of laughter, the determination of athletes pushing through fears, the proud tears after a new skill, and the friendships that grew on and off the mats.

Thank you to every athlete, parent, and coach who trusted us, believed in us, and helped make this academy something truly special. You shaped the heart of this place. Thank you to those who helped us pack up and move on.

Although our name is changing, the memories we made together will never fade. Our journey continues with Kids Spot, and while this transition brings a lump to our throats, it also brings hope for new possibilities.

Here’s to every moment, every milestone, and every person who made Wight Tumble Academy unforgettable. We will carry you with us into this next chapter. Our instructors and team members are now part of the Kids Spot team, and we hope you join us over there as well.🤍🤸‍♀️

Wight Tumble Academy closed at 7:30 tonight (Thursday July 10th) due to bad weather conditions. Many roads are flooded.

While the team has around two dozen athletes, 11 of them placed in the top 10 at nationals for tumbling and trampoline in June.

Wight Tumble Academy Parents night out this Friday 2-7-25. Drop your child off while you shop or eat.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Cost is $15.
Tumbling / Trampoline / Double Mini/ Foam pit / Cheer floor/ Tumble tramp. Must have waiver on file. Text 815-877-8303 if you need a waiver.
