We're off and on our way to Pittsburg for the 2024 IWKA Isshinryu World Karate Championships! This is the first world tournament since 2019, and the first for many of our students. Send them a good luck before they compete on Saturday!

Remember we will not be holding classes Friday, August 2nd, as we will be at the tournament.

As we've been preparing for the upcoming tournament, self-discipline is a trait that has come up often in our class discussions.

Often, we may become disciplined and work something into our routine without realizing the success of making it a habit. Is there something you used to struggle with that now comes easily to you?

Only 1 more month until the world championships! This year's tournament is right in our backyard in Pittsburg, PA. Sensei David and five of our students will be attending and competing in August!

Reminder that our fundraiser closes July 1st!

We are raising funds to help cover expenses for our students to attend the IWKA World Karate Championship. This will help to cover costs for a seminar with Grand Master Kichiro Shimabuku, entry into the competition, a team jacket, and a banquet dinner at the tournament.

Our students committed last year to this tournament, and have been training hard! This tournament is attended by schools from across the world, and we are fortunate that it is located in the USA this year.
