Next week will be 14 years since we opened.

I can’t even begin to fathom how we got to where we are today.

I remember standing outside on one red mat by myself doing karate.

I remember hoping that just one kid would come up and learn some moves with me.

I remember people walking by, probably wondering, “What is that weird guy doing?” 😂

I remember being a little sad because I was missing all the people I had known for the last 10 years.

I remember being excited because I was curious to see who I’d meet.

14 years later, my life has never been the same.

The amazing people I’ve met.

The amazing lives I’ve seen change right before my eyes.

The amazing culture our students bring every single day.

I am so incredibly blessed and grateful for everything Busto’s Martial Arts has done and been for me.

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to everyone for everything.

This studio means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for an amazing 14 years. ❤️

Back to school with Sensei Matt! 🍎✏️

Pick up a permission slip at the front desk and ask your teacher to fill it out, and we will arrange a day for Sensei Matt to visit your classroom!

He’ll read a karate themed story, show a karate presentation with the students, and go over an age-appropriate life lesson (bullying, confidence, etc)

How many different schools will we visit this year?!

EARLY BIRD TIX ENDS SEPTEMBER 26th! 🎟️

Join us on October 18th from 10am - 2pm at Bethpage State Park (Bluebird Pavilion) for an afternoon of food, fun, and school community!

🍔 Hamburgers and hot dogs served at 12 PM
🍉 Watermelon Contest to follow!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The more, the merrier!

🎟️ NEW THIS YEAR: This is a ticketed event!
Each student receives 2 tickets. One for themselves and one for a guest. Additional tickets are available for $15/person when purchased before September 26th!

⚠️ Please note: This is NOT a drop-off event. A parent/guardian or another adult 18+ must remain with the student for the duration of the picnic.
