Coaches and/or volunteer(s) will take & record temp(s) of anyone planning on entering pool area. Anyone with a temp at 100.4 degrees or more will not be allowed to swim and be sent home.

Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless agreement is required before ANY swimmer can swim.

Social Distancing during practice will be required. Coaches will run a structured environment to maintain distancing. Any child who cannot abide the social distancing rules will not be allowed to continue with practice. Please make sure your children understand this rule.

Parents on Pool Deck: Your temp(s) will be checked & recorded as well to enter pool deck. Bleacher sitting will be off-limits, so bring your own chair and sit at least 6 ft away from each other during practice. If possible, we recommend staying in your vehicle while we practice social distancing on the pool deck.

Please note, if you are late and the coaching staff has already closed the gate for entry, we CANNOT allow anyone on the pool deck once the gate is closed. Please keep this in mind as you plan your day to bring your children to practice.

DropZone Water Park Requirements:

Due to cleaning/disinfecting requirements between swim teams, DropZone will unlock the gates for entrance at 6pm and team members must exit promptly at 8pm.

Swimmers must arrive in practice attire as locker rooms cannot be used.

All trash/clothing must be picked up off the pool deck. Anything left will not be kept. Due to sanitation reasons, they will be disposed of nightly.
DropZone will no longer allow us to use paper workouts.

All DropZone kickboards/equipment will not be available for use due to COVID. All individuals will need to provide their own equipment.

MESA will keep and share recorded patron temps and share with DropZone management on a daily basis. Anyone with a temp of 100.4 will not be allowed in.

Bathrooms are only for emergency purposes

Showers are not to be used

Patrons must exit through the left fire lane (gate nearest baseball fields)

Thank you all for your patience during the time off and thank you for your patience as we work through this new environment we live in.

Happy Monday MESA family!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a week since our last practice in the pool! Many of you might be looking for a program to keep yourself in shape, so here is an option.

Resilient Swimming 2.0 is a program developed by a former swimmer of mine to protect swimmers shoulders and strengthen them to prevent shoulder injury. This program is specifically for swimmers!

Not only is shoulder injury important while we’re swimming, but it is even more important when you aren’t swimming. Eventually, we’ll get back in the pool and you can easily hurt your shoulders after getting back in if you haven’t worked to strengthen them during this pandemic.
