This is a soccer player who came to us playing through severe knee pain, with no idea where to start.

Like we do with all of our athletes — we tested and did a thorough assessment to get a real baseline.

We performed side to side strength testing along with dynamic jump testing and his results were alarming.
His data showed a 46–61% from his good side to bad side. That is a major difference and needs to be taken serious when it comes to high level sports.

Like most athletes - he knew he had pain but never told anyone how bad it actually was and was determined to play through it. Seeing the numbers and watching the videos of himself was enough to prove that this needed to be taken care of.

No guessing and no rushing him back based on timelines. Real data and a real plan.

THIS IS WHY WE TEST.

DM us if you’re playing through pain and don’t know where to start.

Headaches killing your workout?

Some of the movements you’re doing on a weekly basis may be feeding into the symptoms you’re experiencing.

Here is a simple example of how we changed a painful movement into a challenging movement with zero pain.

If headaches, neck pain, and shoulder pain is stopping you from reaching your goals - reach out and stop guessing.

Most athletes tell me the same thing

I bench, squat, deadlift, and hit arms.

To be clear — these movements are your bread and butter and always will be.

But movement variability matters. Exposing your body to different planes, positions, movements, and patterns can separate you from everyone else.

This becomes even more important if you have a history of injuries. Athletes are elite compensators — for better or worse.

Challenge yourself in a variety of positions and watch your body adapt.

The most underrated skill…

LISTENING

We live in a world with constant distractions, superficial interactions, and a broken system.

If a client walks in to your room - shut up and listen to fully understand their story.

Most visits to the doc are 10-15 minutes and the patient is then rushed out the door.

You might be the only one that has the privilege to speak with a patient for an entire hour so don’t consume it with spewing useless terms at them.

Listen, read between the lines, ask questions, and you will be in a good place.

It takes 2 weeks to start losing muscle mass and strength.

You train for months - stop when your season starts up - and then repeat..

Don’t stop. Adjust.

Client Transformation ⬇️

Here is exactly what our shoulder rehab looked like over the last couple months for my client.

Oli had a history of shoulder and neck issues from his rugby days with multiple falls and injuries to that area.

Oli experienced shoulder pain for years stopping him from doing the things he loved to do (biking, workouts, travel, etc..)

He went from only being able to lift his arm to shoulder height…
to being able to press again for the first time in years. Pressing over 65 pounds with no pain.

This is just a small glimpse into what our rehab actually looks like.

Reset → Rebuild → Perform

The goal isn’t just to get you out of pain.
It’s to get you back doing what you thought was never possible and then some.

Don’t misconstrue this 40-second clip as a “quick fix.”

This took months of consistent work, showing up day in and day out.

Now Oli is seeing true results.

💪Big shoutout to compositemind for always showing up and always putting in 110% effort.

Don’t Wait.. Start now.

Almost no athletes are training in-season.

Talking with volleyball players & parents, the saying was almost always:
👉 “We don’t spend anytime training it’s too busy.”

And I get it — the season feels packed.

But here’s what gets missed ⬇️

Your sport trains your skills.
Timing. Decision-making. Technique.

Training builds your body.
Strength. Power. Durability.

If all you’re doing is playing…

You’re improving your skills,
but not building the body that supports them.

So as the season goes on:

• you feel more fatigued
• your performance dips
• small aches start to show up

Not because something went wrong—
just because something’s missing.

In-season training doesn’t mean doing more.
It means doing what actually supports your season.

👉 keep your strength
👉 maintain your power
👉 stay durable

That’s how you continue improving while you compete. Rather than playing catchup every offseason.
