Water temp at Brushy Branch was 50 degrees. Started the day with my old faithful, a shad rap then tied on a rat L trap. Both caught fish which was entirely white bass. I then pulled out a new lure called a Gay Blade made by Cotton Cordell. This is the first time I've used this lure and it out fished the others 3 to 1. It's heavy enough for long casts, awesome swimming action and the fish loved it. Fish count...white bass- stopped counting at 35 but a safe bet is double that. Largemouth bass- 1 good one. Spots- 4 the biggest being 14". Great day and definitely better than work.
