UpSkate NY Junior Roller Derby Upskate NY Junior Roller Derby is a public, nonprofit, educational & athletic organization. We're a JRDA affiliated junior roller derby open to ages 8-17.

We accept players of all genders, and from all backgrounds. Open to all levels of skating ability, we offer a safe and inclusive space where players from all backgrounds can come and develop new friendships while developing skating skills and teamwork. Upskate had a very busy derby weekend! We hosted Ithaca and friends in a bout on Saturday. It was a close game with Ithaca taking the win with 258 to Upskate’s 250! Thanks for joining Ithaca and Rochester! We would also like to thank all of the officials, parents and the EMT that made it possible. It definitely takes a village!

We’re running our Super Bowl Squares fundraiser tonight and it’s the easiest way to support UpskateNY Junior Roller Derby while also having a very valid reason to scream at numbers. 😂

✅ How winners are picked:
At the end of each quarter, we use the LAST DIGIT of each team’s score (0–9). Match the digits on the board = you win that quarter.

💰 Payouts:
🏆 1st Quarter — $150
🏆 Halftime — $250
🏆 3rd Quarter — $150
🏆 Final — $350

⏰ Kickoff: 6:30 PM tonight
