Rome City Schools would like to congratulate Rome High's Madyson Thacker for being named to the All-Region 5-5A Softball Team.

Thacker, a sophomore who pitched and played first base, had a solid season for the Wolves. Thacker hit .517 from the plate in region games and .392 in all games. She compiled 20 hits, six doubles, one home run, and 13 RBI. She also stole 13 bases.

As a pitcher, she threw 67 innings with 90 strikes and compiled a 6.16 ERA.
