Tackle tip of the day👍

Keep two pairs of pliers in your boat. Incase you throw them in the lake instead of the fish. 🤣

Caught 43 bass, 8 legal, no pigs. And 6 crappie, lost a nice set of pliers right at the boat.

I hope all Dads have a great day. Figured I share two key influencers into how Pink Canoe came to be.

First my father Jack Garrett who threw me in the old bass tracker at a early age. I didn't grow up like most tossing out a bobber and a hook. I was handed either a Mann's Jelly worm Texas rigged or a Rapala F7 or F9 in black and silver. As I got older it turned into Heddon Torpedos, Dying Flutters, and Snag Proof Moss Mouses. Baits I still throw today.

Second is my father in law Dan Hayes. My dad started me in fishing but being from California we didn't ice fish. When I met my wife I was introduced to waterfowl hunting, fishing year round, and expensive women. I've been broke ever since.

Both have had a major influence on this small jig company. Dad for my initial fishing addiction, and for buying my first fly tying kit. Which the kit paid off just took 10+ years lol.
My father in law for getting me into ice fishing but also giving me the excuse to go all the time..."Hunny I'm going with your Dad"

Both have pushed me to get this where it is now. Maybe not the "same" push but together it allowed me to connect the dots.
