We're still buzzing on this past weekend's Race the Base and what turned out to be perfect conditions for racing around the base of beautiful Pinnacle Mountain!

Early Packet Pickup will be Friday at Fleet Feet Little Rock from 4-6pm. If you can’t make early packet pickup, no worries. You can check-in Saturday morning at Pinnacle Mountain State Park ahead of the run.

Registration is OPEN for the Race the Base, a 4-mile competitive trail run returning to Pinnacle Mountain State Park on Saturday, October 25th.

Kids ages 12 and under can tackle the Kingfisher Kids Run - a FREE kids run along a 3/4-mile paved trail in the park. No fee, no frills, just fun for kids aged 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run, walk, or stroll with their kids, too!

Registration for The Race the Base, a 4-mile competitive trail run, opens Sunday, June 1st!

This annual festive event returns to Pinnacle Mountain on Saturday, October 25, 2025, with all the fan favorites – plus a few new additions. Featuring the Base Trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, a scenic loop trail that encircles the base of Pinnacle Mountain just west of Little Rock, first-time participants can expect a moderately challenging trail run through the shaded hardwood forest surrounding one of Arkansas’ most prominent natural landmarks.
