We had the great pleasure to promote eight new black belts - and recognize Professor Paul with his third degree.

Congratulations to new Professors Pete, Marc, Jesse, Jeannine, Chris, Jesus, Eric and Angelo!

There is no doubt that you all will take to heart the service nature of the Black Belt and be amazing ambassadors for both GBRP and Gracie Barra.

These new additions bring the number of home grown Black Belts at GBRP to 22! (Soon to be - 23 IYKYK)

If that wasn’t enough excitement, we celebrated the day with an excellent seminar from Master ! Thank you Master! The choke techniques were lights out. 😴😵. We can’t wait to see you again soon!

Saturday, April 11th we will will be hosting Master for a special two-part event at our school.

This will be our first ever event featuring a Coral Belt!

At 10:00a we will be celebrating the promotion of 8 new Gracie Barra Rohnert Park Black Belts!

Amazing weekend for at the San Jose Open.

We were the largest school, contributing 34 competitors to the overall Gracie Barra Team.

Our competitors’ victories and podium placement helped Gracie Barra to bring home the 2nd Place Overall Award.

Of course, our competitors did an amazing job. But just as impressive was the GBRP family and friends squad.

All told we were more than 60 deep. At one point taking over an entire corner of the parking lot (to the dismay of security) for an impressive tailgate with folding chairs, remote control cars, music and coach/chef Marc’s signature pulled pork tacos.

Thank to to all the team and family members that contributed to making this weekend so special. We are truly Stronger Together.
