Fred Berschauer Performance Horses Fred Berschauer is a professional horse trainer with 30 plus years in training, showing and selling top quality western performance horses.

He specializes in training and showing reining horses just east of the Springfield,MO area at the Right Lead Ranch in Rogersville, MO. Fred is an “ambassador” for Purina Mills , riding for the Purina Checkerboard and also is an ‘endorsee’ for Prime Performance Nutrition promoting their products. Fred holds various clinics throughout the year in reining, working cowhorse and horsemanship. He coach

es non-pro (amateur) and youth reiners at the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) show level. Fred showed as a youth winning national titles and honors from roping to pleasure to horsemanship. He then went on to earn a college degree from the specialized equine program at Lamar College in Lamar, Colorado before starting his career as a professional horse trainer. He spent 8 years in Germany training horses professionally and was a consultant in building several western horse operations in Europe. He won numerous European championships in reining, western pleasure, and trail, and has had AQHA world qualifiers in reining, roping, pleasure and cutting. He specialized in reining when he moved back to the U.S. Some of Fred’s most recent accomplishments are the NRHA World Champion Top Ten title as well as a multiple finalist in the NRHA Reining Derby and a finalist in the NRHA Reining Futurity for 3 year old reining horses held in Oklahoma City every year. He has trained and shown world champions in the Buckskin and Palomino Associations in reining and ranch horse competition as well.

Circal G classic quarter horse Association, Sheridan, Arkansas Shooting jaeger had a super weekend winning the AQHA ranch versatility all around championship under both judges for the weekend putting down some great scores Marking a 159.5 in the Ranch riding 1st under both judges Ranch trail ,1/2 confirmation, 2/2nd herd work, 2/2nd in the cow horse .Shiney Gypsy Outlaw was reserve Highpoint all around winning the  herd work/cutting under both judges marking 143 first in the Reining under both judges marking a143.5 , first under both judges in the working Cow marking 142 having unbelievable weekend . Owner Julie and Kevin Dishman.  Hillbilly Blus /Woodford stood first and second in the confirmation and placed second under both judges in the Ranch riding marking a 147 also placing third under both judges in the reining marking a 141  this young stallion as a three year old is showing to be the next up-and up-and-coming super star. This picture came to me. Today day wasn’t by social media that was sent to me. This was back in the day with a good friend of mine that actually isn’t with us anymore, but to show up on Easter morning, he was a heck of a cowboy and true sense he could rope and ride as good as the best of them I think the saying he could ride anything with hair on it was understatement. I could remember one morning going to the barn in keci Kansas walking through the door and there was this buffalo saddle in the middle of this square pen. and he said Fred watche this . I kinda could tell this had been going on for a while. One pant leg was ripped down the backside of his jeans. He was laughing and carrying on watch this watche
 this ,he takes a runing start does a flying leaf lands in the middle of this buffalo. of course he was carrying on had that laugh that he had and that smirk on his face and the ride was on and if you knew Richie, you know what I was talking about. this is probably taken on a Sunday morning hanging out around round table. We’d probably been out most the weekend at the cowboy club in the evening and riding horses in the day. It actually looks like there was a bottle of Lord Calvert sitting on the table, probably from the night before dad was probably fixing a Mesa eggs, bacon biscuits, and gravy. Listen to the stories that we had to tell. A lot of memories stories good times and bad which we had taken different paves in life . A day of remembering old friends, new friends, and the Lord that we love Happy Easter. miss you my old friend.!

Our neighbors cat keeps coming over and getting in our trap and Darcie said that we can’t keep him because I already have a cat Arnold. neighbor said that they didn’t want him back. Feel bad for him. Needs a little handling and calming down but probably will make a good watch cat in time. Delivery is a possibility if you’re interested just let us know.
