Fred Berschauer Performance Horses Fred Berschauer is a professional horse trainer with 30 plus years in training, showing and selling top quality western performance horses.

He specializes in training and showing reining horses just east of the Springfield,MO area at the Right Lead Ranch in Rogersville, MO. Fred is an “ambassador” for Purina Mills , riding for the Purina Checkerboard and also is an ‘endorsee’ for Prime Performance Nutrition promoting their products. Fred holds various clinics throughout the year in reining, working cowhorse and horsemanship. He coach

es non-pro (amateur) and youth reiners at the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) show level. Fred showed as a youth winning national titles and honors from roping to pleasure to horsemanship. He then went on to earn a college degree from the specialized equine program at Lamar College in Lamar, Colorado before starting his career as a professional horse trainer. He spent 8 years in Germany training horses professionally and was a consultant in building several western horse operations in Europe. He won numerous European championships in reining, western pleasure, and trail, and has had AQHA world qualifiers in reining, roping, pleasure and cutting. He specialized in reining when he moved back to the U.S. Some of Fred’s most recent accomplishments are the NRHA World Champion Top Ten title as well as a multiple finalist in the NRHA Reining Derby and a finalist in the NRHA Reining Futurity for 3 year old reining horses held in Oklahoma City every year. He has trained and shown world champions in the Buckskin and Palomino Associations in reining and ranch horse competition as well.

Sire Gunna Stop Archie this last  weekend at Nebraska, Ranch Horse futurity and maturity had a very successful weekend being reserve High Point three-year-old fut. champion
1st ranch Trail, 3 year old & high score overall marking a 73 in the all age
He also had high score overall 147.5 in the all age reining 1st place under both judges
1st &3rd in 3 year old fut. boxing
1st in 3 year old fut Trail
2nd /2nd in 3 year old fut. herd work
2nd/2nd in 3year old fut . confirmation

We had a great time at the crooked cactus AQHA/VRH horse show in Carthage Missouri this weekend we had success with our young stallions 3year old Hillbilly Blus /Woodford owner Carolyn Hefner was VRH High Point all around champion he also won under both judges 1st place VRH Ranch cowhorse with 12 horses in the class he picked up four points and getting his qualification for the VRH World show next year
