If you’re looking for a good local race check out the Run to the Son 5k and Fun Run in Elgin on Oct. 14th! It’s a nice road run through a quiet subdivision hosted by none other than Brian Davis and Crossroads Baptist Church!

The Run To The Son 5K & Fun Run is on Saturday October 14, 2023. It includes the following events: 5K and Fun Run.

Change of plans due to weather since the trails may be a bit soupy. We will begin a 10-mile loop starting at Rogersville Recreational Park at 6 am tomorrow. Anyone who’d like to join in is welcome! If the rain is still going at that time we may cancel but I will keep those interested posted!

Hi everyone, I’m Kenny Richardson, I started this group along with Brian Davis to give local runners a place to post about upcoming races, meet and encourage other runners, schedule group runs for those like myself who struggle to find the motivation to run alone, and just post about anything related. All runners are welcome regardless of age or gender, whether you’ve been running for years or maybe have just been thinking about starting, this group is intended to get more people involved in doing what they love and grow our small community of runners!
