Here’s to a Fearless weekend at Grandma’s Marathon! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

So awesome to see a crew of Fearless athletes across the 5K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. Cheers to all the miles, the training sessions, and the bodies that carried us across the finish line.

We’re proud of all of you!

Doorway stretch no longer cutting it?
That’s because you probably don’t need more stretching. You need to load it.

If you’ve been stretching your chest and shoulders for months with little change, it may be time to give your body what it actually needs: strength.

Muscles don’t just adapt to being pulled on. They adapt when they’re challenged under load.

Strength training through a full range of motion can improve mobility, build resilience, and create lasting changes that passive stretching alone often can’t.

Stop chasing the stretch. Start building strength in the positions you’re trying to reach.

TRAVEL FEARLESS

One of the greatest compliments we can receive is hearing that someone was able to fully enjoy their adventures because their body was ready for it.

Here’s what Chrysa had to say after her trip to Austria:
“I had such a great time in Austria with my niece Aliyah! We ate good food, toured castles, and hiked mountains and gorges. Thanks to Fearless Physical Therapy & Fitness, I was able to keep up with her on all the hikes!”

This is exactly why we do what we do.

A great day spent supporting Rogers Hockey on the golf course. ⛳🏒

Fearless was proud to sponsor a hole at the Royal Cup in support of Rogers High School Hockey. We had a great time connecting with members of the community and sharing how we can help active adults and athletes continue doing the things they love.

Events like this are a great reminder of how much support goes into youth sports. Behind every team is a community of people investing their time, energy, and resources to create opportunities for young athletes to grow and compete.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it a great day. We’re grateful to be a small part of supporting Rogers Hockey and the athletes who represent our community.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

Pain showing up during your workout?
Before you skip the workout completely, try making one of these adjustments:

1️⃣ Modify your Range of Motion
Reduce how far you move into the painful position while staying within a comfortable range.

2️⃣ Adjust the Load
Sometimes your body can tolerate the movement, just not the amount of weight you’re using.

3️⃣ Change the Angle
A small change in stance, grip, hand position, or exercise variation can make a big difference.

4️⃣ Support Your Balance
Using upper body support, B-stance variations, or other external support can improve stability and reduce symptoms.

Pain is often a sign that something needs to be adjusted, not necessarily avoided.
Movement is rarely all-or-nothing. Finding the right variation allows you to keep building strength, maintain consistency, and continue progressing while your body heals.

What is an Accessory Day at Fearless?
In the lifting world, “accessory work” typically means working the “pretty muscles” your shoulders, arms, calves, core, and other muscle groups that look aesthetically good!

At Fearless, we put our own spin on it.
We bring in principles from physical therapy to help keep you moving optimally. You’ll see things like rotational movements, single-arm/single-leg work, coordination, plyometrics and exercises that challenge the stabilizing muscle groups that often get overlooked.

These days may also get your heart rate up a bit more than usual!

Accessory Day isn’t just about building muscle it’s about building a body that moves well both inside and outside the gym.

Learn what an Accessory Day looks like for yourself.
See you in class.

Your body only has one battery.
And there are only two ways to recharge it: sleep and nutrition.

No supplement, energy drink, pre-workout, or productivity hack can replace those two things.

If you’ve been feeling run down, dealing with brain fog, struggling through workouts, recovering slowly, or noticing more aches and pains than usual, your body battery may be running low.
Your body cannot build muscle, heal tissue, adapt to training, regulate hormones, or perform at its best without enough fuel and enough recovery.

Recovery is not a luxury. It’s a requirement.
YOU CANNOT OUTWORK BAD RECOVERY.

If this sounds like you, here is a simple place to start building back your body battery:
• Put your phone down 1 hour before bed
• Eat 3 meals and 1 snack every day

Simple doesn’t mean easy.
But these two habits alone can have a massive impact on your energy, recovery, performance, and long-term health.

Have you caught yourself saying one of these? Here’s why it’s time to rewrite the narrative. 👇

1️⃣ “We Do Different Workouts Every Day”
Your body doesn’t adapt to randomness.
Strength is built through progressive overload, not constantly changing exercises. If you never repeat movements, you never give your body a chance to get stronger at them.

2️⃣ “Deadlifts Will Destroy Your Back”
Deadlifts don’t destroy backs.
Weakness, deconditioning, and doing too much too soon are far more likely to cause low back problems. Deadlifts are one of the best ways to build a stronger, more resilient back when programmed and progressed appropriately.

3️⃣ “I’ll Sleep when I’m Dead”
You cannot out-train poor recovery.
Your body has one battery, and the ONLY two ways to recharge it are sleep and nutrition. If you’re constantly under-fueling and under-sleeping, don’t be surprised when progress stalls.

4️⃣ “I Don’t Want to Lift Heavy and Get Bulky”
Most people dramatically overestimate how easy it is to build muscle.
Strength training is vital to improve bone density, muscle mass, metabolism, confidence, and long-term function. Getting “bulky” doesn’t happen by accident.

5️⃣ “I Can’t Do That Anymore, I’m Too Old”
Age changes things. It doesn’t eliminate capability.
Many of the things people blame on aging are actually the result of years of inactivity, strength loss, and reduced exposure to movement. One of the best ways to stay capable as you age is to keep challenging yourself.
