Arkansas Leadslingers We are keeping the old West alive! We have cowfolk of all ages in a sport that is as competetive (or not) as you want it to be. SASS rules are followed.

The Arkansas Lead Slingers is a SASS affiliated cowboy action shooting club. The Club was formed in 2002 by five guys interested in the sport who pooled their money to get the insurance to start. Three of these guys still live in the area and are still shooting with the club. Some might think we are a period reenactment group but we are a action shooting club with a love of the Old West and Old We

st movies. We shoot original or replicas of guns from about 1860 to 1900’s. We do dress the part and our focus is to have fun in a family environment. We have shooters from 8 to 70+ both male and female. The theme of our range is Have Gun/Will Travel and our town is named Frisco City from the series. Visitors who wish to watch or participate are welcome. It is free to watch and even if you want to become a new cowboy shooter it has been said it is cheaper than a therapist. See Ya at the Range

Five brave cowboys came to Frisco City today to shoot with the Leadslingers. Maybe it was the threat of rain that scared everyone but if you wasn’t there, you missed a great day on the range. Benton County Kid was the top shooter followed by Greasy Creek Slim. Benton County kid and Dirty Dan Paladin both shot a clean match.

Seven shooters joined the Leadslingers today, one of them shooting her very first match. Hope to see her back on the range soon. Greasy Creek was the top shooter today. Dirty Dan Paladin was our only clean shooter.
Anybody that may be interested in participating at Mudtown Days next Saturday, let Dirty Dan know as soon as possible.

The Arkansas Leadslingers will be shooting this Saturday, May 30 to make up for the two we had to cancel. Start time will be 9:30. Don’t let the rain chances scare you away. If it does rain we will shoot the covered stages
