AMAZING time in SC playing in the USYS Southern Presidents Cup - this tournament (in case ya don’t know) is for the second place soccer ⚽️ team in the state & you get to play all the other second place teams in the southern states. So it’s a pretty big deal.
To brag a little - Our team 2010G - (girls born in 2010) did not make it this year, but starters were invited to play with some of our 2009 girls (you can roster up to 18). Our 2009 girls came in second in the state 💪 Our 10s went in with an amazing energy & attitude knowing they were going to be playing some top teams…and not only that, but top teams a year older than them 🙌
(Super special FYI - We actually have Shaia who we brought too and she was born in 2011 - and she KILLED IT down here in SC…let me just tell you some of these 14yos are built like grown women, but our 11yo Shaia held her own!!!)
We played hard and had one amazing win (6-1), one loss (0-1), and today we ended our time in the Presidents Cup with a tie (1-1).
We showed up & showed out!! I am so so proud of these girls and how much they’ve grown this year. Thank you Coach Courtney & Coach Joele for taking us along on this grand adventure. Can’t wait to get back here next year with the 2010s 💥
