Last game of the season. We came up a little short on the scoreboard, but with so many injuries and such a young team, it truly felt like a win. We’ll miss our seniors fiercely, but there will always be a home for them here. 🧡🖤

We’ll take a little time to rest, then the work starts in the offseason. 💪

Tonight, the lights shine a little brighter at the Gilpin. 🧡🖤🏈

It’s the last game of the season — and for our seniors, the last time they’ll take the field under the Friday night lights. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., with a tailgate party starting at 6 p.m. and a bonfire after the game to close out the night the way Hurons do — together.

It’s the moments that built us. The laughs in the locker room. The mud, the sweat, the roar of the crowd. The memories made with teammates who became brothers.

Tonight, we celebrate all of it — every down, every cheer, every lesson learned along the way.

We ❤️ the Brotherhood.

🧡 Friday Night Lights-Senior Night Spotlight 🖤

This Friday, under the Gilpin Field lights, we’ll celebrate our seniors — #6 Justin Romel, #9 Cayden Brege, and #10 Austin Lesko— as they take the field one last time in front of the home crowd. These young men have shown heart, leadership, and a commitment to the Brotherhood that will never be forgotten.

Join us for a night filled with pride, memories, and Huron spirit!

🥳 Tailgate Party kicks off at 6:00 PM with catered concessions by Lacey and Freddy (and the usual stuff) and exciting raffles before kickoff.

🏈 Game time: 7:00 PM vs Hillman — our final game of the season!

🔥Bonfire at the Gilpin after the game! All are invited!

Come early, cheer loud, and help us send off our seniors the right way. Once a Huron, always a Huron. 💪🧡🖤

🧡 Senior Spotlight: Austin Lesko #10 🖤

We’re celebrating our seniors this week — the ones who’ve given their all to the Huron Brotherhood and left a lasting mark both on and off the field.

Austin Lesko has been playing football for eight years. His love for the game started with recess football as a kid — where every play and tackle sparked a passion that’s never faded. Over the years, he’s played it all — starting out as a receiver, moving to quarterback, then finding his rhythm at running back and cornerback.

Austin’s proudest football moment came back in fifth grade when he sprained his ankle but chose to push through instead of quitting — a decision that helped him find the spark that fuels him today. That same determination carried through surgery this season, as he continues to support his team and stay a vital part of the Brotherhood even when he can't be on the field.

He plans to attend college and work toward a successful future. Austin says being part of the Brotherhood has been something truly special — a second family built on loyalty, support, and unforgettable bonds.

Football has taught him to never give up, no matter the obstacle — whether it’s an injury, a setback, or a tough game.

Austin’s perseverance and positive spirit have left their mark on everyone around him, and his teammates will always remember the strength he brought to the Huron family. 🥹🖤🧡

🧡 Senior Spotlight: Cayden Rhode #9 🖤

We’re celebrating our seniors this week — the leaders who’ve given their all to the Huron Brotherhood.

Cayden Rhode has been playing football for ten years. Inspired by his friends and his brother, he fell in love with the game early and has played just about everywhere — quarterback, running back, corner, and outside linebacker.

One of his proudest moments came during the Onaway game, when he rushed for 168 yards — one of his best games ever. His favorite memory? When Chase Luetzow caught a punt from Isaac Paull so the team didn’t have to run after practice — a moment every player remembers!

After high school, Cayden plans to join the Marine Corps and train to become an electrician. He says being part of the Brotherhood means having a second family — people who lift you up, not tear you down. It’s been an absolute blast this year, and something he’ll never forget.

Football has taught Cayden to always work hard, stay disciplined, lift others up, and keep getting better every day — lessons he’ll carry far beyond the field.

Cayden’s grit, heart, and humor have made a lasting impact, and the Brotherhood won’t be the same without him. 🥹🧡🖤
