Never got an update out after the Keystone National Garden Tractor Pull. Congratulations to Bill Coulter for placing 5th on Friday with his Ford, Blue Ox, out of 18 in the class.
Mike was out for a joy ride on Spooked out, finishing out 14th in the same class.
Frustration was making its debut after a 2 year hiatus from a pulling track and had a catastrophic failure mid track on its first hook and was out of action for its last 3 pulls scheduled. But to no avail, Mark and his brother Matt made good on a new build that’s in and ready to go for Navarre Ohio this weekend. Big thanks go out to both of them for a great turnaround on a new power plant. Navarre is the last stop for the National Garden Tractor Pulling Series for this season. Frustration is ready to be loaded and will be there with bells and whistles on. There will be a live stream on Friday and Saturday and we will provide the links to watch on YouTube.

All settled in for a little sleep and ready for action tomorrow at the Keystone Nationals Garden Tractor Pull. We even brought Mike’s old ford now owned by Bill Coulter for him to make his first ever hook here.

Upon further review with an autopsy of the engine in Looks Good Enough, preliminary findings show the cause to be block failure. All other components were intact and appear to be still functional,(Hopefully).

Day 2 at the Hilliard Winter Championship pull has come to an end for us. Loaded up and headed home. The results today were not what we wanted. Looks Good Enough engine had suffered a catastrophic failure and decided to leave the party. We’ll get it back to the shop and perform the autopsy on it and go from there. All in all it was a great weekend catching up with everyone and a huge thanks to the Hilliard Tractor Club for putting on a great event. Congratulations David Smith for winning both classes today. It was great seeing you and the victory cartwheel and thank goodness you didn’t rip the pants in doing so 😂😂

This past Saturday evening before the few light snow flurries hit the area, we made the trip to Somerset PA for the Appalachian Outlaws season banquet. Mike claimed his back to back championship award in the Mountain Ridge RWYB garden tractor class. Congratulations to all the pullers and a huge thank you to all the members who helped put on an awesome season and a banquet that was just as amazing. Next stop is Jackson Ohio at the end of February to get some indoor pulling action.

A good day in the shop. “Looks Good Enough” on the operating table getting some minor changes done and gone over. The end of February will be here before you know it.

The year started on a fresh engine rebuild by Lakota Racing after the Keystone Nationals and a few sets of fresh cut tires from Billy Decker. Yesterday was the final points hook with the Appalachian Outlaws Mountain Ridge run what you brung series. There were two hooks on schedule for one of them was a make up pull from an earlier cancellation. Mike finished out the evening claiming a win on Looks Good Enough in both events on a power hungry track. With the wins Mike was able to claim back to back points championships of the series. It’s been a long but quick summer and we’d like to give many thanks to everyone that has helped out in any and every way possible from putting on the events to helping us out with the tractor.
There’s more news in the pipeline for us but that will be disclosed in the near future 😁👍

Yesterday with the Mountain Ridge class cancellation, Mike and Looks Good Enough traveled to the Darlene Sample / Bob Jones Sr memorial pull below Salem Ohio to take a shot at the top spot in the Open Twin class. 12 good running tractors were in the class with the top 6 making it to the finals. We set the tractor up a little different than what we had been and it worked. Mike drove it to the top spot of the 12 tractors in the qualifying round but a drive shaft coupler bolt breakage in the finals had him fall short resulting in 6th. A big Congratulations to Andy McCauley for winning the finals!
It was definitely a great time catching up with a lot of pullers from the different classes.
A huge thank you to the Winona Tractor Pullers for putting on and hosting a great event.
