Ozone Endurance Challenge

We have had an amazing experience since starting the Ozone Endurance Challenge 6-96 hour events eight years ago. It has been extremely rewarding to provide a unique and supportive family friendly venue where so many people can come and dream big, where they can not only reach, but exceed their goals. It has been amazing to see so many people achieve distances at the Zoner party that they never thought would be possible. Even more rewarding are all of the incredible people we have met and grown to love as part of the Zoner family. We have made many lifelong friendships that we will forever cherish and appreciate.

And now the time has come to pass the torch. We are super excited to announce that Lawrence (Larry) Chow, one of our Zoner family, is stepping up and taking over the reins to direct the Ozone Endurance Challenge!

Larry has competed in this event and is an amazing ultrarunner! He has a heart of gold for supporting fellow runners and is very passionate about continuing this event in 2025 in a new location which he will announce soon along with the dates. So stay tuned!

Larry is an experienced race director and also race directs the Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC) OutdoorX 12 hours endurance run produced in collaboration with Five Rivers Metroparks and the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience each year.

It will be really exciting to have Larry and his team taking the Zoner party to the next level. Please join us in giving him a super warm welcome! We know he will deeply appreciate your support, encouragement, and participation as he works hard to make this event we all love even better!

Runners have 4+ weeks from October 1st through October 31st, 2023 during which you can complete your distance. Grab your spot while there are a few still available. The Ozone Party for 2023 is going Virtual!

The Ozone Fam is already putting together activities for each weekend to keep participants excited and moving along. Swag, medals, and buckles will mail out after the event. Current registered runners have received an email with further information.

We know many of you wanted to party with your Zoner Fam in October, and we did too. There are quite a few reasons we're switching to a virtual this year and we hope you enjoy this opportunity to grab a friend or family member to participate, crew, or cheer with you.

We're hoping that 2024 won't have as many scheduling bumps, and we'll be able to return to running around beautiful Camp Ozone!
