I really have to applaud Mondo's finish today. He had a game last night, but showed up big this morning to continue to sharpen his footwork. Still favors that right foot on all drills, but is showing me some good qualities to succeed at the corner position. I'll have to get him back for laughing at my slip though.

Today's Notes: Large focus on brake-plant-drive. He'll be doing these in his sleep. I don't think he'd have it any other way.

Big day of development for Mondo. Came out thinking we had cooler temps and Texas showed me otherwise. If you have a young one in need of some speed enhancement, you know where to find us. We could use a receiver. www.dbspeed.me

Mondo working the drills and listening like a guy who is interested in the next level. Really enjoying the interactions with him and his Dad.

New athlete, Armon / 11th grade. DB material. Not much for action vids today as the GoPro refused to work in the 100 degrees.

I could tell his helmet was not too comfortable with all that hair and made the mistake of asking him if he wanted me to come out with my old college helmet on. Of course he said yes. I wonder if he’ll hold me to it. Kids don't forget, do they?

Another hot one in the books. Breaking down the drills to the finest degree. The kid is going to be fun to watch.
