most people overcomplicate nutrition… but it’s actually this simple 👇

👉 calorie surplus = you gain weight (muscle if you’re lifting + some fat)
👉 calorie maintenance = you stay the same
that’s it. that’s the foundation.
but what you eat STILL matters.
every day should have:
✔ lean protein → builds & preserves muscle
✔ carbs → fuel for performance & energy
✔ healthy fats → hormones & recovery
✔ vegetables/fruit → micronutrients, digestion, overall health
you don’t need to track every calorie forever, but you do need a basic understanding of what and how much you’re eating.
