Many people think that clean eating is about “avoiding“ or “excluding“ certain foods, but in reality incorporating (adding) your favorite food/snack/desert into your diet promotes a lot higher rate of adherence. Understanding more about the nutrient content of your food and experimenting with your decisions about balance, variety, and moderation to decide how best to nourish your body is an exciting part of healthy eating. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

1️⃣ Improve your bedtime routine
If you are getting less than 7-9h consistently, you might want to reconsider your bedtime routine 🛌 Here are some tips:

🔘 Set an alarm for 30-60min before the time you want to go to bed, so you can start your routine.

🔘Minimize your exposure to bright light and electronics during that time, because the blue light from screens promotes awakefullnes.

🔘 Avoid consuming caffeine after noon. Your afternoon pick-me-up coffee might be preventing you from being able to fall asleep easily, or earlier.

🔘Try working out earlier in the day 🏋🏻‍♀️ Exercise is stimulating and can keep you from falling asleep especially if you are training later in the day.

2️⃣ Try simple de-stressors such as :
🔘 Mindful breathing exercises

🔘Keep a journal in which you can do a brain-dump whenever you are dealing with consuming thoughts

🔘 Walk outside

🔘Make time for recovery

3️⃣ You don’t have to do it all, we live busy lives in a busy world and many factors are out of our control.

📆Set realistic and measurable goals.
🙅🏻‍♀️Don’t compare yourself to someone else. This is your OWN personal journey, embrace it.
⏳It won’t be instantaneous , you gotta put the work in.
📈📉There are doing to be ups and downs, but it’s the choices that you make at each of those moments that will help you shape your achievements.
🌟Own it. Own that it took years to get where you are and own that it’s gonna take a long time to get to where you want to be. It’s all part of the process. ✌🏻
