CA Yard Sharks The CA Yard Sharks are dedicated to having a positive atmosphere while getting each player to play at the next level of softball.

The goal of the CA Yard Sharks is to develop and showcase a strong group of team-players who show passion for the game and are willing to work hard as a team while also putting forth the individual effort necessary to play their own best game. We believe in the fundamentals and strive to continually develop our players and refine their skills. We are committed to positive coaching and player attit

udes which in turn brings confidence and loyalty on the field. Winning is great but it is not our sole objective. We still believe softball should be fun! We develop players that desire to play at the next level. We will help prepare players for the recruiting process and offer key opportunities to be seen by college coaches. Academics are a priority and we stress this to our players. We are committed to playing clean, competitive ball through good practice habits, dedication and respect for others. The Yard Sharks have built a reputation of good sportsmanship and fair play. We take great pride in our teams and the CA Yard Sharks organization.

Our practices start this Tuesday Aug 10th at 5pm Freedom Park. Our roster is finalized except for a pitcher and potentially catcher.

If you are a pitcher looking to get some exposure time in the circle. The opportunity for a lot of time in the circle with a lot of time to get college exposure is with us.

All of our graduating seniors received college offers. We have college connections all over the country.

Based out of Sacramento, we have our own practice field, with lights. We practice hard, and we play often.

We have Triple Crown Showcases, PGF Showcases, and USA Showcases on our fall schedule.

Our fees are among the lowest in Northern California.

Looking to finalize our roster by filling our last two pitcher and catcher positions.

We have an opportunity for a lot of time in the circle and a lot of time behind the plate for a pitcher and catcher looking to get college exposure.

If you’re not getting the structured practice, the skill development, the game experience, and the college exposure you want, Yard Sharks might be the place for you.

CA Yard Sharks 18 Gold - Price/Lugowski

Tryouts - Thank you to all the players who have come out so far. We will be conducting a private tryout session on Tuesday August 3rd @ Freedom Park, Sacramento CA 5pm for those who were unable to attend last week - contact us in advance if possible. It is our goal to finalize our roster next week in preparation for our showcase scheduled fall season.

CA Yard Sharks Gold Price/Lugowski 18U has openings for great team members. Seven players going away to college leaves opportunities for players looking for dirt time. Currently have one rostered pitcher at this time and we carry a small roster of 13-14 with fall showcase events.

Currently looking for a pitcher, catcher, middle infielder and speedy outfielder- definitely a plus if athlete can play multiple roles.

We are based out of Sacramento/Rocklin area and we have our own practice field.

Our summer schedule is focused on getting back in front of the college coaches to be recruited.

We have Triple Crown Valley Invite, PGF Summer Showcase, Champions Cup Showcase and the AST Showcase already paid and accepted.
