Today I want to share with you one of the founding principles our students will learn at Wright Way TaeKwonDo. It is,

"Your actions. Your attitude. Your responsibility."

This is very important to understand because so often we can become overwhelmed by our circumstances in life and then use those circumstances to justify our actions. When the reality is that our actions are purely a result of our attitude in or toward a situation or circumstance. And our attitude is always our responsibility to control.

Today will be a bit different. This time I am going to give you a sentence, and I want you to tell me what it means! =]

"All of my hak saeng must wear their dobok during class in my dojang."

(I'll give you a hint... all the answers are on this page!)

Today's "Morning Motivation" will be about potential!

I believe everyone has talent or ability to do great things! How we use those skills will determine whether those things are great or not. Now motivation comes in many different forms; fear or love, positive or negative. I also believe that the type of motivation can have a large impact on the attitude it is done with. Which is why I believe strongly in positive reinforcement. Because a positive attitude yields positive results!

Goooood morning everyone! Hope you are doing fabulous this Monday morning. I would like to do a quick review of your weekend. When I left you on Friday I asked if you would join me in a challenge of doing a R.A.K. (Random Act of Kindness). I really hope you all participated, and if you did I would love for you to leave me a comment about what it was that you did! =D

Today I think I am going to mix things up a bit. Instead of trying to motivate you, I am going to challenge you with some Forward Thinking!

Many times conflict can be subdued or completely avoided by taking a moment and considering the other person (their needs, motivation, or mindset).

So over the weekend I challenge you to do some Forward Thinking, and consider the people around you with R.A.K. Intentionally do a Random Act of Kindness for someone and then let me know how it went come Monday!
