I had an amazing time at Stonehill College the other night as I attended their 50 Million Dollar Built to Rise Campaign. This will provide a new home for their Basketball and Hockey Teams as they are now with a Division 1 status. I coached Stonehill from 1992-2000 as a younger guy and it helped me so many ways in my personal and business life. Im grateful for all they have done for me. It was great to get a picture with coach David Berard, who is building a great hockey program, be patient, it takes time at this level. I also got a great picture with Father Jim Chichetto, who is dear friends with my brother Ben and mentor to my nephew Benjamin who will be a senior next year on campus. The drawing of the new Bogan Center looks incredible and can’t wait until it comes to fruition. My good friend Duke Castiglione of channel 5 sports was the MC and did an incredible job. The best part of the night was sitting with the voice of the Red Sox, Joe Castiglione. He is one of the classiest person I’ve ever known and I’m lucky to call him a friend.

Today our flag flies at half-mast in honor of Kevin Trainor, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on May 6. We pray for Trooper Trainor’s family, friends and his entire Massachusetts State Police family as they face this heartbreaking loss. His service, courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Please keep all first responders and their families in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
