South Shore Tae Kwon Do has been offering instruction and training in Taekwondo since 2007. Located in Rockland, MA, South Shore Tae Kwon Do's goal it to produce champions in life as well as in the martial arts. Headed by Robert Whitman (5th Dan Black Belt) South Shore Tae Kwon Do offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in Taekwondo.

Good morning! Looking forward to fun Saturday and classes. We will be working on sparring drills in all classes today! Please bring your full sparring gear.

Just a reminder that we will be closed on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday. Please plan your classes for belt testing accordingly.

We have the following events coming up:
- Back To School Friday Fall 2026 Open House Class on Friday September 11th at 4:30 P.M. for ages 4-6 and 5:15 P.M. for ages 7 and above.
- 2026 Back to School Pizza Party on Friday September 11th at 6:00 P.M.
- Back To School Saturday Fall 2026 Open House Class on Saturday September 12th at 12:00 P.M. for ages 4-6 and 12:45 P.M. for ages 7 and above.
- 4th Annual South Shore Junior Classic Martial Arts Tournament on Saturday September 19th. This tournament will involve other local school in the area and will have board breaking, forms, weapons, and point sparring and Tae Kwon Do sparring. - Back To School Moms Charcutier Night at South Shore Tae Kwon Do on Friday September 25th at 6:00 P.M. This is a fun way for the moms to get together without the kids to celebrate back to school and learn self defense. You may register online at www.southshoretkd.com/events

Can’t believe how fast the summer of 2026 went. From the Rockland Day performance, the ice cream class, the black belt graduation, AAU Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale, beach class, Brockton Rox demonstration, summer camps, and all the regular classes we definitely kept busy.

We will be working on forms and self defense in the Little Dragons and Junior classes, sparring in the teen/adult classes today! Please bring your full sparring gear (teens and adults), bo, nunchaks, and kamas.

Also don’t forget that fall jackets and sweatshirts are now available to order along with October Breast Cancer Awareness shirts. All orders must be made by today August 31st. Please see front desk to order.
