SO.. The Dover Drag Strip Nostalgia Drags at Lebanon Valley Dragway Got a Little Wet .
Sat. & Sunday of the three-day event got cancelled early, as that mean old nor-easter got the best of us, hitting
the track way sooner than expected. We even thought we’d get the whole day in Sat. Not the first time the Dover Gang got rained on. Funny…. Way back
when Dover was still operating and we rained out, we’d call Howie at Lebanon, and if the sun was shining there, we would head up to the Valley ( our Sister Track )
BUT … The Pits were packed Friday , Am I bummed out ? Kinda. 16-hour ride back, with rain all the way to Virginia.
All the special features we had planned will be back bigger & Better., plus our fantastic sponsors , racers & fans understand, you can’t control weather.
Like the song says: “ Don’t Stop”… thinking about tomorrow ,yesterday’s gone.
Thanks to all that have supported the event over 18 years & the fantastic help from former racers, motorsports companies, fans, friends, and
those that won’t let that little track in Wingdale, N.Y. be
Forgotten. Here’s the “ROLL Call” of the guys that make my job easier to pull this off, all the way from North Carolina.
NUWAY TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR / LARIS MOTORSPORT INSURANCE/ SWAG CUSTOM RIDES/ M&H RACEMASTER TIRES
HILLERY HOT RODS CT. CRUISE NEWS / GLORY DAYS FIBERGLASS / AFFORDABLE CDL TRAINING SCHOOL

Plus, multiple Car Clubs and Race Groups .I especially extend my gratitude to Wayne DelMonte, Howie Commander, and the Tracks Super Crew, for the pleasure of
working with them putting on the event all these years. Nobody better ! Dover Ain’t Over ! Watch for an all-new ONLINE DOVER DRAGS Online GOODIE BOOTH,

DINO Says: I'm getting ready to drive North This might be the last post. ,comment or messenger responce ,Due to I don't do internet-e-mail or facebook on my Cell phone . computer when its on & I'm logged in >>>Weather ? changes by the hour and just saw storm now moved north .But thats by "models'. Too much presumption from the models like: 'potential'- might' ;possable, 'could' 'looks like' .Can't know anything with out real time radar..Everything can change if it moves 100 mile in any direction, the whole scenerio changes .. Won't real deal til Friday 'as it happens.' Son As Far as Wayne & I are concerned....Fri Looks Good sat maybe something late & and sunday ? -we'll see ."if it comes in or go's north & out.
