Our RL 8th graders getting warmed up for their first match of the Northern Conference Tournament versus Christian Life. Come on out to RL today and watch these super athletes in action. Say hi to the varsity players (and Hope) who are volunteering their time to work!

How awesome are our 7th and 8th grade teams?!?
The Varsity players and coaches finally got a chance to watch both teams in action against Christian Life on Monday night and wow, they did not disappoint.

First, our 7th grade team has improved so much already this season under coach Alessa Nelson's guidance. They served well, were aggressive to the ball, and worked well together. They walked away with a big win and had fun doing it.

Our 8th grade team has kids who can hit, see the court and tip, set, dig, and serve. They were doing it all and, again, worked well together and looked like they were having a blast. They too came away with a win. Kudos to coach Sam Vito for all her hard work!

And last night both teams had a road match at Willowbrook and ... BOTH TEAMS WON IN STRAIGHT SETS! This is a huge win for these girls and a great confidence booster as they enter the second half of their season. We are so extremely proud of them and their coaches for all of their hard work.

Both teams are back at it tomorrow afternoon at home versus Rockford Christian.

Great job players and coaches! The future of volleyball is bright at RL!

Last night was a busy one for RL Volleyball. The high school program traveled to Byron where both Varsity and JV came away with big non-conference wins while freshmen, who are still working on finding a rhythm and building chemistry with one another, lost in two.

The 7th and 8th grade teams had a home match against Freeport, and both teams got the W -- 8th grade in two sets and 7th grade in three sets. Well done ladies!

Tonight the Varsity and JV teams travel to Keith Country Day for another tough non-conference match. JV plays at 5 and Varsity takes the court immediately following. Come on out and cheer for your Sader Volleyball Team!
