Rock Valley College has a long tradition of excellence in intercollegiate athletics with over 120 All-Americans, eight national titles, and eight national coach of the year recipients. In recent years, golf, women’s and men’s tennis, women’s basketball, volleyball, and softball have all placed nationally. Rock Valley College's athletic teams participate at the NJCAA (National Junior College Athlet
ic Association) Division III level in the N4C (North Central Community College Conference). Members of the N4C include seven full member schools (College of DuPage, Harper College, Joliet Junior College, Madison College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Rock Valley College) as well as one associate member school (Wilbur Wright College). The Rock Valley College volleyball, men's basketball, and women's basketball teams all play in the 4,300 seat capacity arena located in the Physical Education Center (PEC) on the college's main campus. A new wood gym floor, as well as a multi-purpose athletic surface with a 1/10 mile three lane track and interchangeable volleyball and basketball courts were added to the PEC as part of a major remodel of the facility that was completed in 2009. Locker room facilities were also enlarged and upgraded, and a new scoreboard and concession stand were added for game days. These facilities include four outdoor batting cages as well as brick dugouts and press boxes. Head Coaches Include:
