Sadly, last night wrapped up another year of Monday Men’s League at Cherry Valley. From an epic Banana Ball all-star game, to some great games to losing 8000 balls into the river (damn lefties!) and some great dingers (sorry pickleballers and cars!), it was a season to remember.

Shout out to Casey Kiefler for umping all year long for us and Angel Grinnall for keeping score and updating the scoreboard every out! You guys make the league run smoothly!

Congrats to our regular season Champs Big Bunts led by Chase Taylor and Runner-Up Blazerz led by Alex Mather.

Congrats also go out to our Playoff Champs Modern Solutions led by Brandon Folk with Big Bunts taking 2nd.

Would also like to thank Larry Johnson and his Lightning 2.0 squad as well as Jojo Carpenter and his Amigos team for participating all year.

We’re already looking forward to May 2023 for another epic season of dented cars, broken windows, lost balls and a lot of fun! Thank you everyone who came out and played, help run things and cheered on the players!

See you all next year!

Congrats to your 2022 Monday night league playoff champs, Big Bunts! Also congrats to runner up Scoreboard. Thanks to all the teams that came out for the long season and making this league a ton of fun. Also a huge thanks to everybody that umped and made the league happen each week. Already looking forward to 2023!

Also want to congratulate the regular season champion Roosters, who unfortunately weren’t able to participate in the Playoffs due to winning a national championship with Venom (Wednesday Women’s League Team) in Myrtle Beach.

Again, thanks to all for helping make this league happen!

Be sure to come out to Baumann Park Monday night for the Playmakers All-Star Night!! Festivities will start around 6pm, featuring a home run derby, pitching competition, relay race, a relay throwing race and of course the all-star game featuring players from each of the 8 teams playing Monday nights in Cherry Valley. The All-Star game will be starting at approximately 9pm and will be a 9 inning game. We’ll have music, bring your coolers, chairs, games and let’s have a great time for this extremely unique event to our area!

What a perfect night for fall softball and the first Playmakers Mens League Night champion to be crowned. A championship game meant to be after battling all year, between #1 seed Lightning 2.0 and #2 seed The Amigos. Both teams were crushing the ball and a back and forth game ended with The Amigos taking the lead in the 7th and shutting down Lightning in the bottom to take the win 22-20. I’m so thankful for the teams that played as I couldn’t have done it without you: The Amigos, Bomb Squad, Lightning 2.0, Cherry Poppers & R-Dawg Detailing. Bryan and Dom, I know you would’ve much rather been playing but umped for me so I could play, THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone that has hopped in and umped for me throughout the year. The families, friends, fans, pets, thank you for making the environment fun! This league has been so much fun and I can’t wait to see us grow next year!
