Youth Bowling Leagues Offer Fun, Friendship, Exercise, Confidence — and a Great Value for Families
ROCKFORD, IL — Parents looking for a fun, affordable activity that gets their children off the screen, moving, making friends and building confidence have a great option this fall at Don Carter Lanes.
The Don Carter Lanes Youth Fall Bowling Leagues begin Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. and are open to children ages 3 and up, from first-time bowlers to experienced youth bowlers.
Unlike many youth activities that require expensive equipment and additional weekly costs, Don Carter Lanes has designed its youth program with families in mind. One payment covers the entire 14-week program, with fees starting at just $159 per bowler.

Something for Every Age
The program is divided into age-appropriate groups so children can bowl and socialize with kids near their own age.
Bowlopolis Bumpers – Ages 3 to 7/8
Two games each week • $159 for the entire program
Bantams/Preps – Ages 7/8 to 11
Three games each week • $199 for the entire program
Junior/Majors – Ages 12 & Up
Three games each week • $199 for the entire program
