To preserve the history of Rock Springs, we also need to preserve the Museum where pieces of history are kept.
Hydro-Tech Incorporated has been contracted to repair the stonework exterior to keep our Museum standing through Wyoming’s tough winters. We’d like to thank the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, the Rock Springs Historic Preservation Commission, and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office for making this project possible.

🎯 Women’s Gun Safety Class 🎯

Join us at the Family Recreation Center for a hands-on class focused on firearm safety, handling fundamentals, and personal confidence.

📅 Monday, September 21st
⏰ 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
💲 $10 recreation fee
👥 Max 5 participants

No shooting is included. The class focuses entirely on safety instruction, handgun mechanics, practical handling, and responsible storage.

Now that fall is in the air, we have to say goodbye to our summer help. We want to gave a huge thank you to Minty Allred and Austin Erwin for all the hard work they did the past few months!

Between the two of them Minty and Austin helped put together six different new displays in the community, scanned hundreds of pages of documents and photographs, moved an untold number of packages, boxes and bags, and helped make the RSHM a cleaner, more interesting place to visit!

💦☀ One last splash before we say goodbye to summer! 🍂

The days are getting cooler, school is back in session, and fall is just around the corner, which means it's time for our splash pad to take a little break!

Our splash pad's last day will be on Labor Day, September 7th.

So grab the swimsuits, bring the kiddos, and make one last splash before the season is over!

We'll see you next summer! ☀
