Alzheimers. A disease that robs a person of who they are. Where one moment they are your parent and the next a total stranger.

During the month of August we wear purple and at the end we walk to find the cure. On the 24th my small family will be only a piece of a greater puzzle to find a cure and in the meantime support the ones who are living with such a disease.

Five years ago we found out that my Father DGL was diagnosed with the incurable disease of alzheimers. My wife's Great Grandmother ARG passed away after living with this disease as well.

These two people and for the many others living with the dementia and alzheimers are the reasons why we walk. Although we have walked alone before this year we would like others to come as well.

At 10 A.M. on the 24th of August we will be at bunning park. Those who can come please we implore you to.

For those who cannot make it that day please consider making a donation to help support those living with this horrendous disease and in promise of finding a cure. There is a QR code down below to donate.
