A Jess appreciation post:
This spring has been so beautiful, and that’s mostly because I’ve gotten to share it with her. Specifically getting the chance to bike with her has been so neat, getting to see how dedicated she is to not just getting better, but also setting goals in a way that I’m not usually good at- most rides for me are, “go faster than I did last time” where Jess sets goals to actually appreciate herself and the places she goes… I thought biking would be a lot of me teaching her how to ride, but instead she’s teaching me how to truly enjoy it. It’s been a really humbling experience to ride with her, and such a blessing I didn’t know I needed. You’re pure joy, Jess. I love you.
