As our senior athletes get ready to graduate tomorrow we would like to say Congratulaions to each one of them and we send them a heartfelt thank you for being apart of our program.
Our Seniors:
Malaysia Arrington-Mentria & Olivia Seidlitz are 2 year athletes.
Ulana Richey is a 4 year standout Varisty athlete. She leaves the program ranked in the top 10 fastest time in school history in the 2 mile and 800 run and 4X8.
Earraya Williams is a 4 year standout Varisty athlete that finished her senior year as a Conference champion in the 4X1 and 4X2.
Imari Nettles is a 4 year Varisty athlete that finished her senior year as a Conference champion in the 4X1 and 4X2, and as a State Qualifer in the 4X2. She leaves the program ranked in top 10 fastest time in school history as a member of the 4X1 and 4X2.
Iphe Carr is a 3 year Varisty athlete that finished her senior year as Conference Champion in Long Jump, 4X1 and 4X2, and a State Qualifer in Long Jump, 4X2 and 4X4. She leaves our program as the school record holder in Long Jump and she was on the team that now holds the school record in the 4X2. She was also on the 4X4 team that has ran the 2nd fastest time in school history. She is also ranked in top 10 fastest time in school history for the open 400.
JaMarrie Lee is a 4 year Varisty athlete that finished her senior year as a Confernece Champion in the 100 dash, 4X1 & 4X2, and a State qualifier in the 4X2 and 4X4. She leaves our program as a member of the team that now holds the school record in the 4X2. She was also on the 4X4 team that has ran the 2nd fastest time in school history. She is one of 2 athletes in school history to be conference champion in 100 dash back to back, she leaves our program being ranked in top 5 fastest times in the 100 dash, 200 dash & 400 dash in school history.
Ameena Ross is a 4 year Varsity athletes that finished her senior year as Conference Champion in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the 200 dash, and a State qualifier in 100 hurdles, 4X2, 300 hurdles and 4X4. She earned her 2nd state medal in the 300 placing 4th in State. She is the school record holder in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and she is a part of the team that now holds the school record in the 4X2. She was also a member of the 4X4 team that has ran the 2nd fastest time in school history. In addition to her school records Ameena leaves our program ranked in the top 3 in school history in the 200 as well.
Our program will definitely miss these atheletes next season, job well done Ladies!!
