In anticipation of predicted severe weather and unsafe travel conditions, Rock Hill Schools will shift to eLearning for Thursday, March 18, 2021. This means all students, including those enrolled in the Rock Hill Schools Virtual Academy, will participate in eLearning.

The current forecast is predicting widespread severe weather with the potential for tornadoes and/or numerous severe thunderstorms, some of which may produce large hail after 12 p.m. The decision to shift to eLearning ensures that learning continues while keeping students, parents, and staff safe.

Due to the potentially unsafe travel conditions, teachers and staff members are able to work remotely on Thursday. All district buildings and facilities will be closed.

Additionally, all after-school and evening activities, events, practices, and programs in Rock Hill Schools for Thursday, March 18, are canceled.
