Five-Star Cross Country Camp A Nike Running camp, 150+ high school aged campers strong, located in Rock Hill, NY every August.

On the surface, Five-Star Cross Country Camp is a week long congregation of runners who have come together from all over the world to learn, train and live the lifestyle. But the experience is much more than the inspiration derived from motivational speakers, the lessons learned on those early morning runs and the opportunity to train with other like-minded individuals. At the heart of the camp is

a family; one that makes this unique week worthy of a year long countdown for returners. Upon arriving, first timers are immediately taken aback by the palpable excitement of those who have been there before. And by the end of day one, newbies have been graciously welcomed by the veterans and are equally consumed by the buzz. What separates Five-Star from other running camps is the genuine passion held by those who work and attend year in and year out. There is a reason Five-Star has one of the highest retention rates among not only cross country camps, but all sports camps, and that is because of the unparalleled atmosphere and relationships formed. Each day is structured in such a way to allocate time not only for instruction and education, great training and supplemental work, but for the chance to meet other runners. In addition to the runs, campers are broken up into teams and compete in a week long competition of games, skits, sports and other activities in a constant battle for rank. The difference between Five-Star and others, is that camp is not a faceless operation. It is a week of recreation that concentrates on the aspects of our sport that make it special, while focusing on the preparation for the upcoming season. Five-Star produces life long friends, great memories, success on the course and a reason to keep coming back.
