Spotlight Players of the Weekend!
(L) - Quay Smith had great production on championship Sunday. He drained 8 threes in 3 games. Also showed the ability to be a lockdown defender as he got several deflections & steals that led to easy buckets. Looking forward to tracking his play during June with the Morgan County Bulldogs.
(M) - KD Davis showed his scoring ability from all 3 levels over the weekend. He shot the 3 off the catch & dribble plus showed the ability to create off the dribble. Player that accepts hard coaching & wants to be held accountable. As his confidence climbs, a big June is in store with the Jasper County Hurricanes.
(R) - Adrian Thomas continues to improve his stock every weekend. He has become a “Swiss Army Knife” type player than every team needs. He does a lot of things well & with great energy for a young player. He also plays Lacrosse which exudes his toughness. His play over the spring will carry into June with George Walton Academy.
